Why Germany

Germany is the smartest move for a Gujarati student who wants a world-class degree without a world-class debt.

  • Pay €0 in tuition at most public universities — you only cover a semester contribution of roughly €100–€400 (which often includes a free public-transport pass).
  • Globally ranked engineering, IT, data science and management programmes recognised by employers worldwide.
  • 18-month post-study work visa — stay back after graduation to find a job, with a clear pathway to the EU Blue Card and permanent residence.
  • Work 20 hours/week while studying to support your living costs.
  • A huge Indian student community already settled across Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart and Aachen.

The catch most students miss: free tuition makes admission competitive. Strong documentation, the right APS file, and an early application decide who gets in. That's where iOverseas comes in.

Eligibility - Can You Study in Germany?

You're likely a strong candidate if you have:

  • For Bachelor's: 12th pass with a strong percentage. (Many German bachelor programmes need a year of prior university study OR a Studienkolleg — we'll tell you exactly which applies to you.)
  • For Master's: A relevant Bachelor's degree (typically 4-year, or 3-year evaluated case-by-case).
  • English proficiency: IELTS 6.0–6.5 / equivalent for English-taught programmes. (German-taught programmes need TestDaF/Goethe certification.)
  • APS Certificate: Mandatory for all Indian students before applying for a visa — an academic verification of your documents. iOverseas handles the full APS process for you.
  • Funds: Proof of finances via a blocked account (see fees below).
